This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to develop and manage a catchment plan.

It includes preparing for catchment management and developing, reviewing and refining the catchment plan. It also includes identifying issues impacting water yield and quality.

This unit supports the attainment of skills and knowledge required for managers in water organisations with responsibility for the management of water catchments. Those undertaking this unit would work autonomously, leading staff, while performing sophisticated tasks in a range of familiar contexts.

No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.

Assessment Tasks

Copy and paste from the following data to produce each assessment task. Write these in plain English and spell out how, when and where the task is to be carried out, under what conditions, and what resources are needed. Include guidelines about how well the candidate has to perform a task for it to be judged satisfactory.

Range is restricted to essential operating conditions and any other variables essential to the work environment.
